Using Cocoons™ for Vacuum-Hermetic Fumigation

GrainPro Cocoons are especially well-suited to vacuum-hermetic fumigation or other modified atmospheres. By this process, commodities such as coffee, cocoa, and the like, are sealed inside a hermetic container, and a vacuum of approximately 35 mmHg (leaving less than 1% oxygen) is drawn. Such treatment eliminates insects at each stage of life more quickly than hermetic storage without a vacuum -- typically within three (3) days at 25°C.
