Cost effective way to store large amounts of surplus grain in bulk without the need to invest substantial amounts in infrastructure. For any amount of grain above 5,000 tonnes (180,000 bu). For loading a large auger, grain thrower or large vacuum grain pump is needed to pile up the grain to a height of several meters. Unloading can be done by front loader. Generally for grain below equilibrium MC’s.
